Following our Placemaking initiatives last year we have developed further strategies to enhance the unique qualities of our area. This new project will provide infrastructure and signage to encourage visitors and locals to explore our natural features, learn something of our history, respect our environment and connect with our people and places. A grant application to CCC has been successful and we are now in negotiations to progress this project. An application to the Geographical Names Board to better identify our area is ongoing.
