On the June long weekend, we attended Silver Gully Farm as part of the Central Coast Council’s Harvest Festival. This is our fundraiser for the year. We were blessed with a glorious sunny winter’s day, and the crowds of people who visited made it very worthwhile.

As well as serving hot home made soups, cakes and hot drinks, we took the opportunity to let people know about the issues we are working on.

The MDA never forgets our district is first and foremost a farming community and as our big pots of hearty soup and kettles of tea emptied we made sure even the animals got an update on what we’re doing to serve their communities.
